. What working conditions do you anticipate will be different in another culture?
What working conditions do you anticipate will be different in another culture?
Question Intent
This question seeks to determine your level of preparedness for the interview and your ability to immerse yourself in a new culture.
Answer Tips
It is a good idea to have researched working abroad, and to demonstrate that you've given the adjustment thoughtful consideration. Adjusting to new surroundings, especially while far away from your safety net of friends, family & language, is a significant process. Demonstrate that you are indeed anticipating cultural differences. You can show initiative by researching working conditions in the country of the company that you are interviewing for and addressing the differences between that country and Canada; you may also then want to talk about how you would adapt to those differences.
