Help The Fight Against Impaired Driving: Volunteer for MADD Metro Vancouver – Strides for Change Walk-a-Thon

Help The Fight Against Impaired Driving: Volunteer for MADD Metro Vancouver – Strides for Change Walk-a-Thon
By: Kim Huynh
If you have ever been affected by impaired driving, know someone who has, or simply want to support the fight against impaired driving, then you may be interested in volunteering for Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
MADD is currently looking for volunteers to help out with their upcoming Strides for Change walk-a-thon.
Strides for Change is MADD Canada’s annual 5km walk-a-thon that aims to educate the general public about the dangers of impaired driving as well as help those who have been affected by it. This year’s walk-a-thon will be held at Bear Creek Park in Surrey, BC and the volunteer coordinators are currently recruiting volunteers to help out!
If you are interested in volunteering for this event, please e-mail Megan at maddvolunteercoordinators@hotmail.com
If you want to learn more about Strides for Change, you can visit http://maddchapters.ca/vancouver/news-events/strides-for-change/

P.S. Don’t let the name of the organization scare you away! MADD has volunteers that range in age – including those in their teens and 20s. ☺
