Summer 2013 Twitter Tuesdays: OLC Career Chats
Summer 2013 Twitter Tuesdays: OLC Career Chats
By: Elizabeth Moffat
This summer we launched a new initiative: Twitter chats. With the help of Career Services (@SFU_Career) and David Lindskoog (@lindenforest) we hosted biweekly Tuesday Twitter chats all summer long.
How It Worked
We asked participants to follow @SFU_Career, @SFU_OLC and @lindenforest, check out our schdule of topics and to join us every other Tuesday at 2pm.
Each week we previewed questions for the next chat, and asked students and staff to submit their own.
Each chat lasted for about an hour, starting with introductions, and then moving on to the five questions of the week. The hosts gave their own opionions and responded to posts from participants, as well as sharing links to useful related articles.
