Description

CALENDAR DESCRIPTION:

Designed to further develop ability in oral expression. Instruction in class and in lab. Students with native or near-native proficiency are not allowed to take this course and must contact the instructor for evaluation or exemption prior to enrollment.

COURSE DETAILS:

FREN 300 – Arts, Cultures et Traditions francophones est un cours d’oral destiné aux étudiant.es ayant déjà un niveau intermédiaire de la langue française. Il leur permettra d’améliorer leurs compétences orales tout en se familiarisant avec une sélection des arts, cultures et traditions de la francophonie mondiale. Ce cours servira plus spécifiquement :

  • à développer une plus grande capacité d’expression orale,
  • à aiguiser la compréhension orale,
  • à découvrir divers aspects des arts, cultures et traditions de la francophonie,
  • à approfondir la communication interculturelle sur les diversités de la francophonie,
  • à explorer davantage les nuances de la langue selon les contextes de communication.

Grading

  • Projet individuel 20%
  • Projets collectifs (groupes de 2 à 4 personnes) 45%
  • Présence/Activités en classe 10%
  • Projet final 25%
