Description

CALENDAR DESCRIPTION:

Introduces students to the area of abnormal psychology. Topics include the definition and classification of pathological behaviour, factors involved in the development of pathology, and evaluation of therapy outcome.

COURSE DETAILS:

Introduces students to the area of clinical psychology.  Topics include defining and classifying pathological behaviour and disorders, factors involved in the development of pathology, and evaluating evidence-based assessment and theraputic outcomes

Example topics include: theories of psychopathology, diagnostic classification systems, cognitive disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, mood disorders
