Description

CALENDAR DESCRIPTION:

Combines biotechnology and engineering for materials and energy harvesting for a broad range of industrial and environmental applications. Offers an in-depth understanding of underlying principles of bioprocesses, which leads to design and operation of a variety of innovative biosensors, control systems and full-scale bioreactors. Sustainable engineering applications include food processing and preservation, biofuel production, and energy generation from waste streams.
