Description

CALENDAR DESCRIPTION:

For students contemplating becoming teachers of Immersion, Core French at the secondary level, or for intermediate and middle school generalists who want to have an introductory overview of second language teaching in general and French education in British Columbia specifically. The general objective is to help prospective French teachers to better understand Canadian bilingualism, its historical, sociopolitical and cultural context, as well as gain a basic understanding of French education programs in British Columbia. The language of instruction will be French, but the class will be "English-friendly".
