Simon Fraser University President’s Award for Service to the University through Public Affairs and Media Relations

Simon Fraser University presents the President's Award for Service to the University through Public Affairs and Media Relations annually. The award recognizes a Simon Fraser University faculty or staff member who has demonstrated outstanding service to the university by sharing his or her expertise with the larger community through the media.

Nomination and Selection

Simon Fraser University staff, students, faculty, alumni, and members of the general community may nominate candidates for the President's Award for Service to the University through Public Affairs and Media Relations. Nominations must include name, address, and telephone number of the nominator, and supporting information on the nominee. Download nomination procedures in PDF format here.

The award selection committee appointed by the University will review the nominations and recommend one award winner to the President. Simon Fraser University will recognize the recipient of the President's Award for Service to the University through Public Affairs and Media Relations at the annual awards ceremony for faculty, staff and students of SFU

The deadline for receiving nominations will be Monday, November 19, 2012.
