Sitting down to a sumptuous, home-cooked turkey dinner with family at university isn’t something students usually expect. But this year SFU International Services for Students (ISS) is hosting a turkey dinner buffet with all the trimmings and dessert for all students, domestic and international, and their families. The dinner on Dec. 14, $10 a person, will be at the Diamond Alumni Centre, the Burnaby campus, 5:30 to 8:30p.m. Students have until Dec. 5 to buy tickets from the ISS Office (MBC 1200), as they are limited. Rohene Bouajram, senior international student advisor, and Michelle Kangro, international student advisor, can talk about the International Services for Students office’s efforts to reach out to students during the holiday season.
