Tax revenues from legalizing marijuana - study
A new study suggests that legalizing marijuana in B.C. could generate billions in government tax and licensing revenues. Published in the International Journal of Drug Policy, the study comes just weeks after Washington state and Colorado approved the legalization of marijuana for adult use under a strictly regulated system. SFU criminology professor Neil Boyd is among researchers involved in the study and can provide comment.
