Port Mann mistake?

If insufficient de-icing is proven to be — as alleged by the Transportation Investment Corporation — the cause of weather-driven accidents on the Port Mann bridge, the province and its construction partners could face some legal problems. That’s one thought SFU political scientist Patrick Smith has in response to the problem that potentially led to this morning’s massive car pile-up on the bridge. Smith also speculates that we, the taxpayers, could wind up paying for any legal fall out down the road.
