Simon Fraser University fish biologist John Reynolds will be in attendance today when Bruce Cohen, commissioner of the Cohen Commission of Inquiry into the Decline of Sockeye Salmon in the Fraser River, holds a news conference in Vancouver.

Reynolds, who assisted in reviewing technical reports for the commission, is available to speak with media afterwards.

The Cohen Commission was established in 2009 to investigate and report on the decline of sockeye salmon in the Fraser River. On Oct. 29, Cohen filed his report with the federal government, providing recommendations for improving the future sustainability of the sockeye salmon fishery.
