A group of middle school students from Citadel Middle School in Coquitlam will engage with leading business professors from Simon Fraser University's Beedie School of Business to showcase some compelling new ideas and products -- using only duct tape, paper clips and popsicle sticks.

The student entrepreneurship workshop is inspired by a previous assignment for SFU business students designed by Beedie professor Eric Gedajlovic. The students – from Citadel's Middle Age Cluster Class program – will pitch their creations to a panel of guest judges, including Gedajlovic and Andrew Gemino, Beedie School associate dean, undergraduate programs.

The collaboration highlights the Beedie School's commitment to the teaching of entrepreneurship and innovation in B.C.
