Upper photo: a Breda Menarini #170 battery operated bus. Lower photo: an unidentifed trolleybus on a special detour due to a construction project. Such detours brought about the end of the system. At a symposium in Osnabrück on 9 NOV 2011, Peter Hanz from the Solinger Transit Authority compared small battery buses and electric trolleybuses.
