The style more or less follows the principle
of what is used in the
atlases of "Blickpunkt Straßenbahn", and is the
same as in my other
maps; dash-dot-lines denote electrified trolleybus lines; circled
numbers indicate regular termini of routes, while boxed numbers
are
intermediate termini (or extensions) of certain runs. Numbers
that
are enclosed by a dotted box denote lines with few runs only.
The trolleybus system of Kapfenberg / Bruck
is quite a hard nut in
regard to route numbers; until ~1995, no route numbers were used
at
all, because route numbers can hardly cope with the numerous different
runs. For example, one of the two non-articulated duo-buses leaves
Werk VI on route 21 at 7:15am, terminates at Kapfenberg, Lindenplatz,
runs back to Europaplatz and continues to Redfeld as the second
regular vehicle of route 2. This is the only run which regularly
terminates at Lindenplatz!
Only a few eastbound runs of route 2 operate
beyond Europaplatz,
arriving from Redfeld -- about one per hour. The Forstschule terminus
in Bruck is usually served only twice per hour which means that
every
other run of route 1 terminates in Bruck, Koloman-Wallisch-Platz
during "mid-peak" hours. About 10 eastbound route 1
runs per day
(out of ~65, as far as I know) terminate at Schirmitzbühel.
The
non-electrified Winkl loop is served about once an hour.
