Nepal
Only one line operates in Kathmandu. Originally, the line served both Kathmandu and its suburbs Madhyapur Thimi and Bhaktapur. The system was suspended on 15 DEC 2001. In AUG 2003 it was reopened. In 2004 both the suburbs opted out of agreement that had been made. The line now terminates at the Kathmandu city limits.
