Comfortable surroundings for vibrant street level discussions on burning issues of the day. No formal philosophy training required; real life experience desired. Come early, stay late.

Philosophers' Cafés are organized by Interdisciplinary Programs in Continuing Studies at Simon Fraser University in cooperation with the dedicated, peripatetic moderators listed alongside each event on this website.

Fall 2010 café article — Endings and Beginnings.

Two new café locations: Main Street and Downtown.

Please note that the Shadbolt café takes place on the second MONDAY of the month. September 13, October 18, November 8 and December 13.

The Lynn Valley café is on the THIRD WEDNESDAY of the month.

Victoria welcomes the return of the Philosophers' Café this spring. Cafés are held twice a month at Serious Coffee in the Cook Street Village. Click here for complete details.
