Page format has been made as simple as possible, and should be printable. Here's the general idea:

Title (Suggested grades)

Objective: The general goal of the activity is described in a short statement. If it doesn't sound good here, read no further.

Outcomes: What the kids are expected to understand after the activities. Taken directly from the "Science K to 7: Integrated Resource Package 1995" Appendix A: Prescribed Learning Outcomes. Everything here is important to the curriculum of the suggested grades.

Materials: A list of everything you'll need. All of the activities here are cheap, and if some material is tough to find, there will be ideas for how to find it.

Doing it: A description of how to do the activity, in paragraph format. Suggested questions are in quotation marks, to help guide kids' understanding and keep them focused. Some are written as if "you" are doing the activities, others written as if you are the facilitator. They are all written to be easy to read, and the directions easy to follow.

Explanation: A short explanation. For something really tough to explain, like magnetism, a link to a explanation page will be provided.

Extension: An idea for an optional way to make the activity go further.

Note: Usually links to other related activities, external pages, or related stories. I like the stories, because scientific history is much stranger and more involved than you might think.
