We are a group of professors, postdocs, and students working on or interested in physics of "soft" materials including biological systems. Many of our members have a fluid boundary and diverse interests in their research, from pure statistical mechanics (both numerical and analytical) to theoretical/experimental biological physics (from DNA to membranes).
We have meetings every Tuesday at 11:30 in P8445B (large Physics seminar room) at which people from SFU or invited speakers from other groups give talks on their research.

If you are interested in joining us, please write me a short note so I can add you to our email list. This list has a very low traffic of about one message per week (namely the abstract of the upcoming talk) at most.

This web site is under on-going construction, and the information on these pages is meant to provide a very basic idea of what is actually being done in our group. For more information, please see the 'People' section and contact the individual researchers or go to the BIOPHYSICS WEB SITE.
