Sustainability and Political Science came together on the 6th-9th of November when two Poli Sci undergraduate students participated in the Generate 2016 14th Annual Conference Poster Competition.

"Generate" is an annual conference ran by Clean Energy BC every fall. Each year it gathers multiple stakeholders from the clean energy industry to present ideas, run courses or participate in panel discussions for up to 800 delegates.

This year two of our Poli Sci graduates, Anthony Bramwell and Maggie Yet,  beat out 8 other teams to win the undergraduate case competition with their research on How to Increase Adoption of Electric Vehicles in BC. This poster outlined action plans for government policy recommendations to encourage electric vehicle useage across the province.

Maggie and Anthony are both graduates of the SFU Political Science department. Maggie has goals of becoming an urban planner and Anthony is set to begin the BC Legislative Internship program in Victoria.

Congratulations to Anthony and Maggie!
