Jean-François Godbout is an Assistant Professor specializing in the study of American political institutions, elections, and political behaviour. He is also a research associate for the Chair in American Political and Economic Studies at the Université de Montréal. His past research has included topics in American and Canadian politics and government. His current research focuses on examining the electoral linkage between representatives and their constituents in the United States.
