Alexander Moens, Professor, teaches international relations, and specializes in American Politics and U.S. Foreign Policy as well as in the Politics and Foreign Policy of the European Union. He is the author of The Foreign Policy of George W. Bush: Values, Strategy and Loyalty (Ashgate, 2004), Foreign Policy Under Carter (Westview Press, 1990). He is co-editor of Nato and European Security: Alliance Politics from the Cold War's End to the Age of Terroism (Praeger Publishers, 2003) and Foreign Policy Realignment in the Age of Terror (Toronto: Canadian Institute of Strategic Studies, 2003). In 1994 he edited Disconcerted Europe: The Search for a New Security Architecture (1994). He has published numerous articles in American, European and Canadian journals. He was the first Cadieux Fellow in the Department of External Affairs, Ottawa in 1992 and was a visiting fellow at the Center for Hemispheric Studies at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C., in April 1999.
