Gwen invited everyone to the Howard Trottier's talk:
- Next Tuesday (March 24, 2009) @1pm in SSB7172
- About the International Year of Astronomy
- Howard needs help with telescopes and starwheels
- Coffee and doughtnuts served

Professor & Tea

Carolyn updates everyone on getting to talk to professors
Dr. Hayden will give a 20-40 minute talk
- Next Monday (March 23, 2009) @3pm in the Physics Conference Room
- Overall research and interest

Dr McGuirk will give a talk
- Wednesday (April 1, 2009) @3pm, location to be announced later

Tea with Leight palmer
- Monday (March 30, 2009) @3pm in the PSA Common Room

PSA Social

Carolyn updates us about the upcoming PSA Social:
- Time: March 27, 2009 (4pm to 10pm)
- Place: Bio-Phys Lounge
- Preparations almost done
- Need volunteers:
	- Pick-up A/V: 2 people (Carolyn will find someone on Friday)
	- Get tickets: Gabe
	- Get prizes: Gwen
	- Moving Tables: Will find someone on Friday
	- Clean-up: Carolyn, Steven, Eric
	- Serving food: Eric, Brian, Steven, Karol, Aditi

UPAAC @ SFU

- UBC can't host the Undergraduate Physics And Astronomy Conference next year because of Olympics
- The current executives agree and will probably be involved in the planning
- To be organized:
	- No hotels/food
	- Get keynote speaker
	- Prepare tours
	- Pie (for pie day)
- Could get SFSS grant if want to make it bigger
