General feeling was that there wasn't enough. New Computers -- Mac is still a good computer, however it needs a working keyboard. Steven suggested that we get one of the nice $50 Mac keyboards, however most people said that is too expensive as it would get broken very soon. So it was decided that we will look for a cheaper keyboard. CUPC2008 Conference -- Alex explains the travel budget of the PSA: - $1000 per semester - non accumulating between semesters Alex motions that the following people be reinbursed $100 each. Seconded by Eric. Alex Loosley Jos One Savanna Shaw Elena Bianca Eric Carolyne Vote: Motion passed by unanymous vote. Steven propses to give $20 to each CUPC attendee (listed above, 6*$120=$120) for dinner in Toronto from core budget. This goes to a total of 6*$20= $120. Seconded by Eric. Vote: Motion passed by unanymous vote. $120 from the core budget goes towards the CUPC attendees. Steven for President! -- Steven is the president, he introduces himself. Promises to get pizza and pop for every meeting. New Sofa and Chairs -- Steve says that new leather sofars are around $200-300 Jos says that she got a leather couch on Craig's list for $50. Carolyne suggests getting a sheet to cover the old sofa, that we can wash from time to time. Problem: cover will keep falling down, but we can tape it up. Plus general consensus is that people like the old sofa, because it's confortable. Undecided for now, but we will try out the sheet idea.
