The focus of my dissertation is the interplay between attachment styles and affect-regulation in adolescents with histories of abuse and maltreatment, and the impacts on their mental health. This research is part of a larger Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) New Emerging Team (NET) grant, directed by Dr. Moretti. My involvement on this research team has provided me with the opportunity to interview high-risk adolescents, and collaborate with other students and professionals. In addition to engaging in applied clinical research,
I have been involved in program development and evaluation at the Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre, an assessment and treatment program for youth with severe behavioral and emotional problems.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends, watching movies, roller-blading, biking, or skiing. Also, I never miss an episode of House.
