Stephanie recently defended her dissertation and completed her pre-doctoral internship in clinical-forensic psychology at Bellevue Hospital Center in Manhattan. She is currently completing a one-year Post-Doctoral research fellowship at the Center for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto.

Stephanie is a student investigator on the CIHR Gender and Aggression Project, and her current research interests include juvenile violence risk assessment and the role of affect-based variables in the development of aggression and violence in adolescents. Recently, she has published two papers examining the structural and predictive validity of psychopathic personality features in high-risk youth, and is currently focusing on the affective dimension of psychopathy and its role in the aggressive behaviors in both adolescent males and females. Other research interests include the assessment of psycholegal constructs relevant to young offenders, such as competency to stand trial and future dangerousness.
