James Climenhage
Interests: At present, I am a PhD student in the social psychology program at SFU. My research interests mainly center around categorization processes, specifically the influence of ingroup prototypicality on perceptions of the self and others. Currently, I am looking at how ingroup identification and target prototypicality influence facial perception as well as research looking at the influence of prototypicality and intragroup respect on group-serving behaviour.

Interests: I am currently a PhD student in the social psychology program at SFU. My research primarily falls into two interrelated categories: 1) looking at how members of disadvantaged social groups cope with their relative disadvantage and 2) examining how members of advantaged social groups respond to threats to their existing privilege.
