April Chai (mmc15@sfu.ca) I've completed my BA in Psychology at SFU in 2011, and am currently pursuing a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Criminology. I am passionate about conducting research, particularly in the complex interplay between mental health and crime rates in society, and exploring restorative methods to help local communities. It is my goal to use valuable research findings to contribute to improving the social justice system in Canada. I plan to continue on my academic career with hopes of completing a PhD in the near future. Fun fact: I enjoy spending time outdoors with my two fur-kids, Oreo the Siberian Husky, and Cookie the Border Collie. |

Brittany Dennett (bdennett@sfu.ca) I am currently in my third year of Psychology. I am interested in social and cognitive psychology, particularly in intergroup relations. I hope working in this lab can help me understand how research is conducted, and allow me to learn more about intergroup relationships outside of the classroom. |

Donna Hutchinson (dlhutchi@sfu.ca) Donna Hutchinson is in her fourth year and excited to pursue a career in psychology. She currently works part-time in fitness as a fitness educator, professional speaker, and personal trainer. She has been involved in the fitness industry for over 25 years and is transitioning into a new career as a counselling psychologist. Donna enjoys hiking, biking, rock climbing, kayaking and yoga. She is marrier and has two small dogs named Bernie and Joey. |

My name is Fernando Villasenor, and for the Fall 2017 semester I will be working with Dr. Wright on a research scholarship to study the psychological basis for destructive intergroup behaviour. During my time at SFU I have accumulated the required course work to graduate with a degree in Actuarial Science along with minors in Psychology and Philosophy. I have also completed extensive additional course work outside of these minors in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Chemistry, and MBB. If you see me around the lab and have questions about anything relating to these courses please don't hesistate to ask, as I would love to pass on what I have learned.
