Do individual characteristics make a difference?

What we want to know.

As many parents and teachers can confirm, children have distinctive ways of reacting to different experiences and people. These characteristic ways of responding to the environment are often present from a very early age, and it is believed that they have a largely genetic basis.

We are interested in looking at how children's individual characteristics are related to how they perceive and react to different events and emotions. We get answers to these questions by looking at children's responses to fun computer games that have been designed at our lab.
