GARDEN THERAPY FOR SELF-CARE

Monday, May 6th from 2:30pm to 4:00pm | Embark Learning Garden

Join Registered Clinical Counsellor, Tricia-Kay Williams, for planting, maintaining, and harvesting a garden for self-care this summer session. You can pair the act of gardening with therapy concepts that cultivate personal growth and resiliency. Make sure to register your spot!

 

RESEARCH

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: SFU UNDERGRADUATE JOURNAL OF PSYCHOLOGY (UJP)

Submissions due April 30th, 2024

The SFU UJP is an annual publication that allows students to share original research, meta-analyses, & critical essays. This is an opportunity to engage in the peer review process, receive constructive feedback, and include your work as a publication on your CV.

 

VOLUNTEER & EMPLOYMENT

STUDENT LEARNING COMMONS (SLC): LOOKING FOR PEER EDUCATORS

Apply by Wednesday, May 15th

Develop transferable skills in the areas of client service, interpersonal skills, giving effective feedback, and cross-cultural communication as part of the SLC team. Help students & earn eligibility for an honorarium this Fall 2024 as a Writing and Learning Peer or English as an Additional Language (EAL) Peer.
