2013 Community Summit Final Reports
In preparation for our upcoming 2013 Community Summit, SFU Public Square conducted research on the the BC economy.
We've held an economic roundtable with 19 thought leaders to help inform the preparations for the Community Summit. The roundtable addressed the following guiding questions:
- What are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the BC economy?
- What are the current drives in the BC economy?
- Where do we want to go?
- How will we get there?
- Where are the gaps in research on the BC economy?
Read the report here.
We've also created a survey to gather British Columbians’ attitudes towards the current and future state of the provincial economy. These results were used to help inform our Community Summit events. It takes less than 10 minutes to complete.
We have created a discussion guide for our 100 Community Conversations participants to provide them with background information on the BC ecnomomy.
Read the handbook here.
For our 2013 Youth Forum, we made slight adjustments to the discussion guide.
Here is a quick look at some of the initial findings from our 2013 Community Summit events.
