Lynda Steele speaks with Layla Cameron – who's first short film Fat Hiking Club was screened at the Vancouver Queer Film Festival – about her missions and the film's purpose. Layla Cameron is the recipient of the 2018 Nora and Ted Sterling Prize in Support of Controversy and is currently pursuing a PhD in Communications at Simon Fraser University. Her research focuses on reality television, media literacy, and fat activism.
