Argo Adventure or Canadian Caper?
Please join us for an intimate dialogue with Mark and Cora Lijek, two of six Americans represented in the 2013 *Best Picture* Argo. The Lijek's will tell their story of the 1979 Iran Hostage Crisis, when they took refuge with staff of the Canadian Embassy in Tehran and fled Iran with CIA assistance. A moderated Q &A and book signing will follow.
Mark Lijek recounts the experience in his recent book The Houseguests: A Memoir of Canadian Courage and CIA Sorcery.
