Resource & Environmental Management Major
Resource and Environmental Management (REM) majors are interested in studying resource management, including fisheries, agriculture, forestry, mining, energy, cultural resources and tourism. In addition to the core BEnv courses, REM majors gain an understanding of historical and socio-cultural perspectives; indigenous/First Nations perspectives; biophysical perspectives; resource management; methodology; trade-offs in decision-making; communication and conflict resolution; and legislation, policy and regulation.
