Facilities and Support Resources

The Centre operates from the Universitys Burnaby Mountain campus and the Harbour Centre campus.

Graduate programs and research initiatives are located at the Universitys Burnaby Mountain campus, which, at 400 metres above sea level, provides a spectacular backdrop of mountains and coastline for resource based tourism studies. The Centres research pod is situated in REM office spaced dedicated to the tourism and recreation graduate students. Students using this space are supported with an excellent set of administrative and technical support staff, up to date computing capacity, as well as electronic and print library resources.

The Centres course delivery occurs primarily on the Universitys Harbour Centre campus, in the heart of Vancouver. This locations proximity to government agencies, business organizations and tourism associations provides an ideal setting for importing tourism professionals to interact with and mentor the graduate students in a contemporary learning environment.
