Pioneering co-op program goes global

SFU's co-op education program — the first in B.C. and a leader in Canada — continues to gain international attention. Many of the arts, science, applied science and business students who participated in co-op job placements last year found work with international employers in more than 15 countries. In 2001, SFU joined Co-op Japan, a consortium of Japanese companies and universities from around the world, resulting in offers of employment in 2002 for SFU students in Japan.
