SSHRC gold medal
The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada awarded Richard Lipsey, SFU economics professor emeritus and Order of Canada recipient, its gold medal recognizing lifetime contributions to research. The $100,000 award is presented to individuals whose leadership, dedication and originality of thought have significantly advanced understanding in their field and enriched Canadian society.
