SFURA - carpooling to sfura events

To SFURA members,

The SFURA Executive Board had the first meeting of the term on  
Thursday September 13. We will be sending out the Newsletter in a few  
days with announcements of the seminars and social events planned for  
the semester, and we will also send the announcements by email.

We are hoping to set up carpooling for sfura events, but we will need  
a volunteer to manage it.  In the meantime, we are looking for a ride  
to the Steven Davis seminar on September 26 (12:00 noon) for a member  
who lives near 41st and Mackenzie in Vancouver.  If you can help,  
please let me know by email and I will put you in touch with him.
