I think it would be a mistake to take on the
faculty-forum list. If it were successful, it would inevitably
overwhelm this existing retirees list and would necessitate the
creation of another list to serve this specific
purpose. Far better to convince the sfufa executive that they
made a stupid mistake and that they can solve their problems
with a header or footer indicating that the forum is a
unmoderated list and that sfufa takes no responsibility for
individual posts.
