SFU CHILDCARE SOCIETY FUNDRAISER
ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!
We are pleased to announce that the SFU Childcare Society will be selling the much sought after 2010-2011 ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS. containing hundreds of coupons for fine dining, cheap and cheerful eating out, car rental, hotels, local shopping and almost every tourist attraction!
To order your copy, please email Kathy at kathyh@sfu.ca call 778-782-4569 or come to the childcare office and pick yours up today. Books can be delivered through campus mail or regular mail. Profits from the sale of the Books will purchase toys and equipment for the thirteen childcare programs.

Bill Jeffries: A Canadian in New York-Walter Tandy Murch Conquers the Big Apple
SFU Gallery Director Bill Jeffries will present an illustrated talk on the life and work of the Canadian painter Walter Murch, who left Toronto for New York City in 1927. Murch's art has links to the history of still life painting, objecthood, memory, phenomenology and contemporary Thing Theory. No reservation needed.
