Presenter:  David Andolfatto, Professor of Economics at SFU and Vice President of Economic Research at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.

David will explain the concept of Quantitative Easing, which involves the printing of money by the US government to stimulate the economy.  He will then discuss how it and other monetary policies evolved and the different interpretations of the recovery dynamic since the Great Recession.  He will also provide a summary of key macroeconomic indicators.
