Presented by Leigh Palmer, Professor Emeritus, SFU

Tuesday March 24th, 2015, 114 Halpern Centre, 11:30 am

Abstract: Most of the science that comprises the computer modelling of Earth’s climate is physics. In this talk a skeptical physicist will examine the often heard claim that the science of climate change is settled.

Presenter: Leigh Palmer joined the Department of Physics in 1966 from the University of California, Berkeley. He taught Physics, Astronomy and Astrophysics. He served three terms on Senate and on numerous Senate Committees over the period 1965 - 2000.

This is the third in the Spring 2015  SFURA Speakers Program. Presentations are free and open to all members of SFU and the public.  No reservations are required.  They are held at 11:30 am on Tuesdays with a talk of approximately 50 minutes, plus a short question period.

Members of the audience are invited to join the speaker and executive board for lunch at the Diamond Alumni Centre following the talk.
