I was part of a team of SFU researchers investigating the spring ice breakup in the delta in 1992.

Cycling in Hawaii. Probably the physically most demanding thing I have ever done! Cycling volcanoes is no child's play. Great fun, though.
This image was taken on the Big Island of Hawaii. Note that the sand is black! It consists of ground-up basaltic lava.
