Introduction

The statements that can be used in writing scripts are listed in this chapter. The heading for each script statement contains

• the purpose of the statement

• the type of connection you can use with the statement.

Summary of Script Statements can help you decide which statements you need to use in your script. The table shows:

• the script statement name

• a brief description of the statement

• the type of connection the statement applies to: TCP/IP, TELNET, or EHLLAPI

• the frequency that the statements are used in scripts.
