SAS Component Language (SCL) Interface to Message Attachments : Introduction
Both direct and indirect messaging services allow attachments to be included
with messages that are being sent between a client and a server portion of
an application. When a query surfaces a message event, it also surfaces an
attachment list if an attachment list was included with the message. Only
the attachment list is surfaced by the query; no attachments have actually
been transferred at this point. This chapter explains
how to send and receive attachments in the SCL environment,
as well as how to handle error conditions that are associated
with message attachments.
