| Introduction |
The LOGISTIC procedure in SAS/STAT software fits linear logistic regression models for binary or ordinal response data by the method of maximum likelihood. Subsets of explanatory variables can be chosen by various model-selection methods. Regression diagnostics can be displayed for the binary response model. The logit link function in the logistic regression models can be replaced by the normit (probit) function or the complementary log-log function.
