Introduction |
You can access online help information about SAS/ETS software in two ways, depending on whether you are using the SAS Display Manager System in the command line mode or the pull-down menu mode.
If you are using a command line, you can access the SAS/ETS help menus by typing help on the display manager command line. If you are using the display manager with pull-down menus instead of a command line, you can pull-down the Help menu and make the following selections:
The help menu for each procedure contains three items: Introduction, Syntax, and Additional Topics. The Introduction contains a few paragraphs describing the procedure. The Syntax item provides a quick reminder of the syntax of the statements and options that control the procedure. The Additional Topics item contains additional information and tips on using the procedure.
New versions of SAS/ETS software may be released more frequently than new editions of this user's guide are published. Therefore, your version of SAS/ETS software may contain additional features not documented in this book. The ETSNEWS help menus update you on any features added since this book was published. You should also check the ETSNEWS help menus whenever you begin using a new release of the SAS System.
