Reading a File That Was Created with CEDA

After a file has been mounted by using NFS on a network, regardless of the format identified in the OUTREP= option, any supported Version 8 host, except CMS, that is attached to the network can access the file. If the host and the file do not use the same format, CEDA is used for reading the file in read-only mode.

Remote hosts transparently access the file in read-only mode, unaware of how the file was created.
