Residual and Surface Plots
Residual plots provide visual displays for assessing how well
the model fits the data, for evaluating the distribution of
the residuals, and for identifying influential observations.
Surface plots are three-dimensional displays of continuous response
surfaces on the regular grids of the explanatory variables.
They are much easier to comprehend than rotating plots.
