Getting Started
The CATMOD procedure is a general modeling procedure for
categorical data analysis, and it can be used for very
sophisticated analyses that require matrix specification
of the response function and the design matrix.
It can be used to perform very basic
analysis-of-variance-type analyses that require very few statements.
The following is a basic example.
